This is a photo that has no dolphins in it, therefore I realize it will probably be ignored but I thought I'd share it anyways.
This is one of the many birds that sit in and around the sea lion exhibit. They are everywhere since there are many people who pay to feed them. This means many opportunities to swoop down in mid toss and steal the fish from the sea lions. These guys are relentless, almost to a point where they are annoying. Basically they are a prettier version of a seagull when it comes to fish. They'll fly down and sit on the stage if a show is going on and wait for someone to drop a fish I swear.

On a more serious note, they have a very small range of discomfort so I was able to get really close to this one without scaring it away. They make for nice subjects.

Love these birds, they're Snowy Egrets and they're here pretty much year round with the Woodstorks and Ibises. Atleast they're pretty, especially when they litterally get their feathers ruffled! This photos is a beautiful representation of this species, tall, proud, and of course, snowy white! I love the colors in this sot and it's a miracle to get those guys their true white but not overexposed, and you certainly did that in a beautiful manner! The only thing that gets me is Kraken in the background, maybe ou could try some cloning to get it out? It's so unnatural that it's a bit of an eyesore, if not, still a great photo!

Nice long legs! Definitely much prettier than seagulls :giggle:

It's a nice shot, I feel somewhat distracted a bit by the background though but still a nice clear shot :)

I saw those on a believe video a trainer grabbed one while he was tossed over the slide-out by a whale =)

The eye stands out here and the detail on the little feathers is amazing

The focus and angle are amazing! I really like how you got the bird in such a good light and the focus is on it instead of the distracting background but it is balanced out since the bird is just white and in center of the picture. And it's brilliant that you post a picture of a bird, not a dolphin or other animal that seems to be more famous, precious or whatever! :heart:

The background is pretty distracting, I suppose I should have scouted for a less busy background but I didn't want the bird to fly away. XD
